UNDERSTANDING SOFT WASHING, POWER WASHING & PRESSURE WASHING
The differences between soft washing, power washing, and pressure washing methods are the temperature of the water and PSI. With soft washing, professionals use a lower PSI. Power washing blasts water at a high pressure using hot water, and the water used for pressure washing is not heated. The higher temperature used in power washing makes it easier to cut through grime and effectively clean surfaces.
SOFT WASHING
Is a relatively new technique that’s quickly become the preferred way to clean roofs, home or building exteriors, and so much more. The system is meticulously designed to keep people and their property safe. Soft washing is low pressure (similar to a garden hose), using around 500 PSI or less for rinsing or cleaning applications, and designed to spray long distances. Soft washing forgoes that high pressure and uses safe chemicals instead. This allows us to meter the chemicals and change the pressure and content flow when needed to suit our blend of detergents. It is ideal for more delicate surfaces, as pressure washing can potentially be harsh and damaging. Soft washing is the process of applying cleaning detergents at low pressure and rinsing the solution and any contaminants off the surface with a low-pressure stream of clean water. Soft washing achieves the highest kill rate of bacteria, lasts the longest, uses the least amount of resources, and has the best cleaning results.

PRESSURE & POWER WASHING
Pressure washing is the application of high-pressure water. As the name implies, this system uses extremely high water pressure to remove loose paint, mold, grime, stains, dirt, and debris. The high-pressure water is produced by specifically designed pumps, using up to 3,500 PSI. Pressure washing can keep harmful toxins from penetrating the barrier of your home and making their way inside.
Pressure washing and power washing sound like the same thing, but there are a few differences. Power washing utilizes the same idea of blasting water at high pressure, only with hot water. This sets power washing apart because the hot water not only acts to sanitize surfaces, but it is also superior at breaking down organic materials. Power washing is more effective than a pressure washer because of the addition of extremely hot water, which can reach temperatures of over 250 degrees.
